When I am awake I live a life of lie What I feel from within All my actions deny

When I am asleep I get lost in my dreams That is when I enter the realm Of reality, otherwise unseen

They say dreams are untrue Be it monochrome or hued Then why do my dreams Feel like an excuse To feel alive and get Closer to the truth?

The more I dream The more I live The more I wake up The more I slip

So sing me to sleep Let me dream deep I will only feel alive When I am deprived If you want me to drink The potion of my delusion Let me sleep so I can Elude my illusions If you want me to wake up Please don’t interrupt For now I am in touch With the realest reality Because only when I dream I live and wake up
