Let Her Go

A Poem

Photo by JR Korpa on Unsplash

Let her go the moment you begin feeling you own her.

For, in owning, you will miss her fire.

In possessing, you will cap her desire.

In demanding, you will stamp out her need.

In holding back, you will push her away.

Let her go, the moment you begin wanting to not let her go.
