Let Go — Poetry
Losing a third of my soul.
It’s already over You’ve torn me into a million pieces My heart breaks Low blood flow Speechless
You were the one that kept me whole From a distance But still, it was needed It was significant
This situation has broken me I’ve fallen I’ve sunken I’ve disappeared I stay hidden with my pain It’s my crutch It’s my cane It keeps me from going crazy It keeps me in a numb-like passenger lane
I’m never going to be the same Is this what has become of my life? I went, and I came? No, this is more than I can take But I can’t run away
