If You Look for Proof You Will Find It!
The story about what happened to me as a child on Easter

As usual, we put out the milk and the carrots for the Easter Bunny.
He comes during the night on his tricycle to bring the Easter eggs or Easter hens or big chocolate bunnies.
He hides them in the plant pots or behind the curtains, sometimes in the lampshades.
I believed whole-heartedly in the Easter Bunny, yet I was also on the lookout for concrete evidence, and one year I found it.
How I discovered the Easter Bunny is real
There is a dirt road leading up to our dutch style farmhouse in South Africa.
It was raining the night before.
I woke up early, jumped out of bed, and in my pajamas and bare feet I set out on my mission.
I found the half-eaten carrot and half glass of milk by the fireplace.
Yes I thought, you can’t be far!
I ran out the front door and the dirt road was still wet, after the rain.
Close to the house, down the path, there is a gate.
I ran all the way to the gate and just inside the gate I saw it!
The tricycle tracks — clear as daylight.
I never doubted again whether the Easter Bunny existed.
He came on his tricycle, he ate the carrot, drank the milk, and left me a bunch of chocolate.
End of story.
To this day I love this special holiday.
