Summary

The article reflects on the historical irony where the smartest Nazis were utilized by the U.S. and Soviet Union post-WWII, drawing parallels to the contemporary debate over the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and its key figures.

Abstract

The narrative centers around a profound visit to Auschwitz, where the horrors of the Holocaust are starkly presented by an impassioned guide whose family was among the victims. It underscores the gravity of the atrocities committed, with over a million deaths in Auschwitz alone. The article pivots to the post-war era, revealing how many prominent Nazis were integrated into American and Russian intelligence services, contributing to the Cold War efforts, a fact that deeply angers the Polish guide. This historical lens is then juxtaposed with the current polarization between 'vaxxers' and 'anti-vaxxers,' questioning the potential fate of key figures like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Anthony Fauci, should the anti-vaxxers prevail in a hypothetical future conflict. The author muses on whether these individuals would be condemned or co-opted for their expertise, much like the Nazis of the past, and ponders the resilience of their legacies in any societal structure.

Opinions

  • The author conveys the guide's anger over the fact that many Nazis escaped justice and were instead integrated into the intelligence services of the U.S. and Soviet Union.
  • There is a strong sentiment that the most intelligent and capable individuals within the Nazi regime were able to evade punishment and even thrive in new roles post-WWII.
  • The article suggests a parallel between the post-war utilization of Nazi intelligence and the potential future where key figures of the COVID-19 pandemic response could be similarly appropriated by the victors in the ideological battle between 'vaxxers' and 'anti-vaxxers.'
  • The author seems to question the morality and long-term implications of reusing individuals responsible for or complicit in past atrocities for strategic gains.
  • There is an underlying critique of the pandemic narrative and the potential for history to repeat itself in terms of how society treats those involved in controversial or unethical practices.

Lesson From Auschwitz — The Smartest Nazis Always Get Away

Absurdity of War — episode 4: Americans and Russians used the smartest Nazis after WWII to create the new world order

Me in Auschwitz-Birkenau

A few years ago, I visited Auschwitz, a town in southern Poland.

“There were 50 million people killed during World War II,” the guide person told us as we entered what it used to be the largest and most notorious German Nazi concentration camp during World War II.

“Over 12 million killed were civilian victims of the Third Reich’s extermination policy. There were more than a million deaths in this camp alone,” a guide said with an angry voice as he led the group of people through the gates with the sign — Arbeit Macht Frei.

“Never before in the history of civilization had a crime on such a scale been planned and carried out.”

Arbeit Macht Frei by Karlo Tasler

The guide person was a Polish man in his 40s and as far as I remember, some of his relatives were also victims of Auschwitz. He was the most passionate guide I have ever seen. His temper was addictive and his presentation of the Holocaust was remarkable. It was the guding performance based on the personal pain he had towards the topic, which made it so authentic. We were all stunned by the images of suffering the guide was depicting.

“They killed people, with no compassion whatsoever,” he said angrily, with a grim expression in his eyes. “Look at this!” he pointed at the window where belongings of victims were stored.

We stood there speechless, looking at the shoes of children, prosthesis of those who lost legs and arms, tea pots… Pain was coming out from those windows.

“We shall never forget,” the guide said and looked the people in the group one by one in the eyes. “Neither of us!”

The group was speechless.

“This…” I tried to speak after a couple of moments of doomed silence. “This really makes you angry?” I asked compassionately as my throat tightened. “Doesn’t it?”

He looked at me in the eyes.

“Do you know, my friend, what really makes me angry?” he asked me, pissed. “They got away with it!”

I looked him deeply in his eyes.

“Thousands of the most prominent Nazis were saved by Americans after the war and given positions in the CIA and the FBI. They were seen as cold warriors who served as spies, informants, or they worked in other intelligence roles. Many Nazi scientists settled in Russia and America where they played important roles in the period of the cold war. Some rocket scientists were even celebrated as national heros during the Cold War’s Space Race. After all the horror they did here,” he said and pointed to the window with the belongings.

Silence appeared again.

“Yes, some Nazis were convicted, some were sentenced to death, but way too many were granted a decent life, nonetheless. That is what makes me really angry, my friend.”

Now, I am thinking, is this destined to happen again? Will Americans and Russians and… No, do you know what! Forget about Americans and Russians. It is too early! Let’s get back to good old vaxxers and anti-vaxxers to make this point straight.

Now, as there are more and more evidence, even in the mainstream media (although well hidden behind the war coverage), about the different types of misrepresentations, misknowledge, amateurism, commercialism and influencerism that the big part of the pandemic narrative was based on, I am thinking of those people who kept bagging out the elements of bullshit from the beginning. I am thinking of those people who were mocked, demonised and censored for taking a different perspective to the mainstream narrative.

As I was covering anti-lockdown protests from the beginning, I saw some very hard-core anti-lockdowners and anti-vaxxers who didn’t hesitate to call those who made COVID rules Nazis. They believed they would eventually end up in trials, just as Nazis did almost 80 years ago in Nuremberg trials.

As this shit is unfolding, I keep recalling that Polish guy who guided me through the Auschwitz some years ago. And I keep thinking about one thing. Imagine the war between vaxxers and anti-vaxxers that I wrote about earlier. Let’s say that anti-vaxxers win that war. And let’s say their predictions turn out to be correct, and the leading people of the COVID regime end up in trials. They end up sentenced to cancelling as the biggest punishment available.

What would happen to the smartest people of that COVID regime?

I am wondering, would the most prominent people, and in the same time most hated, such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Anthony Fauci, end up convicted, or would anti-vaxxers pick up the “best” of them and use them and their knowledge in the creation of the new anti-vaxx world order. Would they use Facebook to promote their ideas and censor ideas of those who don’t think alike? Would they use Fauci to combat new viruses they assess dangerous? Would they use Gates and his technology to dominate the world of capitalism?

Is the idea of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg destructible at all or is it destined to survive in any system? That is my question.
