Lesson 18: Not So Sexy Advise That Can Make Your Side Hustle Extraordinary
Genuine advice to all serious creators

How are you?
My entire reason for writing this edition is that in the last year I have read and researched so many themes, advice, and what makes your side hustle a success.
And It helped me carve a direction. I am determined to explore and see where it can lead me.
So, I am hoping to help you and someone out there where I was a year ago when I started this journey.

Dream as long as are alive.
1. Find a way to be different
There is a mindset where every day you try to be better than people around you.
And it leads you to be in a rabbit hole as everyone is unique and has their own strength and weakness.
So rather being better than everyone else, just try to be different by being YOU.
And I realized being different is all I need to become a stand-out creator.
- Express as you’re in real life
- Don’t challenge yourself to be perfect all the time
- Explore topics you are passionate about and care for
- Become kinder and empathetic
2. Break the rules and make your own rules
That’s one of the keys to how you can become different, and when you’re different, people remember you.
- Show up enough times consistently
- Try as many things you can try
- Don’t try to fit in. Crave out your own uniqueness
- Get close to self-awareness
3. Develop micro-skills
Writing online or becoming a content creator required some of the basic skills to master. It can help you become better everyday.
- Creating a simple landing page for you and services that you can offer
- Starting an email newsletter
- Formatting
- Reading interesting stuff
- Learn new perspectives and take on things.
The skills you need to add to your stack depend on what path you want to go down.
4. Taking rejections with pride
Beginners are many finishers are few.
This is my go-to quote whenever I have a sinking thought like “what’s the point” or “why do I have to work so hard”.
The thing is you have to keep going and learn how to persevere even when the time is difficult and you are not getting enough views, earning certain $$$, or appreciation from people.
The secret sauce is quite unsexy and consists of
- keep going
- working hard
- discipline
- curiosity
- consistency
So whoever needs to hear this — put in the reps every single day and don’t give up.
5. Think of your side-hustle as a business
Even if you are not managing to earn any money or are not able to monetize your side hustle.
It’s okay. It’s just a matter of time.
No business turns into a unicorn overnight. It is years of work before any business turns into anything else.
It’s a sad reality where we glorify the end success, but not the hard work and failures that was there before getting a massive breakthrough.

Certainly, it has changed mine and shown me different options that I can explore.

There’s so much you can do.
This motivates me more than anything at this time.
