Learning To Speak Dutch
I have a plan again

It was nearly three years ago that I came to the Netherlands, and since arriving, I’ve said I want to learn to speak Dutch. So far, my efforts have not been wildly successful. Now that I’ve succeeded in getting through cancer, it is time to get serious again and create a new plan for learning the language of this new country where I live.
Here is what I plan to do:
- I’ve enrolled in a class that starts in a little more than two weeks. It’s a weekly class, for two hours on Monday evenings.
- To prepare for the class, I will study daily to review what I’ve learned in previous courses and feel ready.
- Before starting the class, I will clean up my office and prepare a notebook and other materials.
