Lion sleeping beside rock by Aldo Picaso from Pexels

Been called it since I flew the nest I’m a lazy lion, lazy bone An idle oaf who only moans and scrolls down my taped-up phone

I live to eat Live to sleep Only crave to smoke and cheat

Wired this way Sired in vein Don’t give a flip if I die today

The dawn is weighing on my heavy head I never seem to get a moment’s rest Tattooed the name on my aching chest

Lazy lion, lazy bone An idle oaf A messed up joke

Guess they didn’t know We’re lazy in defence
