Lady Gaga On Writing
Words to live and write by
The many talents of Lady Gaga have entertained and engaged us for more than a decade. Unlike many other entertainers who seemingly fall into a cookie cutter career path, Lady Gaga’s individuality and creativity shine through.
Known for songs like “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance,” she shows a softer side of her creativity in the hit movie Shallow. Soon, she’ll appear in the next chapter of the Joker movies.
These are only a few of her endeavors. They reflect her depth as an entertainer. More than that, her resume of accomplishments show us the importance of creative freedom.
“When you make music or write or create, it’s really your job to have mind-blowing, irresponsible, condomless sex with whatever idea it is you’re writing about at the time.” ~ Lady Gaga
Regardless of what you’re writing, stop worrying about perfect syntax and use of punctuation. Don’t think about how the story or article will come to an end. You have an idea in mind, and writing is your creative outlet to explore that idea.
Writing a piece doesn’t have to take hours. Instead, find your inner voice, and speak freely with that voice. Don’t censor yourself. Let your readers get to know the true you.
You’re a fascinating, talented person with so much to share with the world. Give yourself the freedom to let go.
May you have “mind-blowing, irresponsible, condomless sex” with your next story!
