Elon Musk And Lady Gaga Were Both Bullied

They became successful in spite of it

Lady Gaga and Elon Musk are both very successful. They overcame obstacles to become two of the most well known names of this period of time. They were bullied mercilessly as children. They are now rich and famous.

Then Democratic candidate for President of the United States, Joe Biden had Lady Gaga perform in Pennsylvania as he made a final pitch in the campaign. She was there to sing as was John Legend.

Although not exactly a fan of Lady Gaga, I have seen that she is a popular performer. It is interesting to hear of her background. She has achieved a lot in her young life. She was born in 1986 in Manhattan, New York, and is thirty-four years old.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is the given name of Lady Gaga. She is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, businesswoman, and actress. She became known for her outlandish appearance as much as for her singing ability. She has received an Academy Award, Golden Globe Awards, Grammy Awards, and other awards.

Lady Gaga is a compassionate person. She is caring of the underdog. She has become a vocal advocate against bullying. She suffered intense bullying as a young girl in high school and at her university. In high school, she was picked up and thrown into a garbage bin. The kids made fun of her because of her “odd” looks and behavior. She was told while she was in college, “You will never be famous.”

She showed them. She became rich and famous. She has said that the bullying convinced her that she was a freak. “Bullying really stays with you your whole life. And it really, really never goes away.”

It is understandable that Lady Gaga would support Joe Biden rather than Donald Trump since Trump bullies constantly even though he is an adult.

Elon Musk was born in South Africa of a Canadian mother and a South African father. He is forty-nine years old. He obtained a Canadian passport and left South Africa in 1988. He was looking for economic opportunities in the United States. He has said he is an Independent and middle of the road politically.

Musk was severely bullied as a child. He once had to be hospitalized after he was beaten by other students. His mother said that he was introverted and suffered from horrible bullying when he was young.

Musk’s brother, Kimbal, concurred by saying “Kids gave Elon a very hard time. It’s pretty rough in South Africa. If you’re getting bullied, you still have to go to school. You just have to get up in the morning and go. He hated it so much.” [In Upriser, by Heather Peirce]

After PayPal joined with his company and later sold to EBay, Musk started on his journey to becoming extremely wealthy. He is famous for his involvement with Testla and other companies. He is now worth upwards of $90 billion.

Elon Musk and Lady Gaga both overcame the terrible bullying they suffered as children and young adults. They were able to rise up to find huge success in spite of it. They displayed great strength and courage in the face of adversity.

It would be interesting to see what happened to the children who bullied them. It is quite certain that they were not as successful. Bullies often end up in prison and live sad lives.

Bullying is cruel behavior which should be stopped.
