In an interval of two months, two powerful Nigerian women have been nominated to lead two of the biggest financial institutions in the country.

With the demise of the CEO of Access Bank, a woman by name Ms Bolaji Agbede was appointed to replace him.

Earlier in the month of March, Zenith Bank also appointed a woman named Adaora Umeoji Nwokoye to lead the Nigerian branches.

This is a rare occurrence in a male-dominated country and deserves special recognition.

Currently, in the medium platform, I have seen uncountable number of women making it big and earning huge sum of dollars at the end of the month.

Women like Eve Arnold, Bella Lockhart and so on are making it huge in this platform.

This is not out of place considering the fact that the medium platform is open for all.

It does not segregate or give credence to any gender or race.

Everyone is given equal opportunity to write and engage in many articles at a time.

On a lighter mode though, I have seen growth in my Meta (Facebook) page by username @Stanley Chibuike.

Contrary to our uncommon practice, girls and ladies now engage me in meaningful discussions concerning growth and sharing of ideas.

This has led me to conclude that the world and the society is changing tremendously and one needs to change with it.

Success is not fixed or tied to any gender, you too can break the jinx and join the moving trend…

I am Stanley Chibuike trying to succeed in medium.

I hope to grow and succeed together with you all.

Feel free to engage by clapping, reading and commenting on this article.

I am still waiting to earn my first pay from Medium.
