Kyle Schwarber Cannot Stop Hitting Home Runs & He’s About To Hit A Lot More

Kyle Schwarber continues his streak of absolutely demolishing baseballs in the month of June. In his nine year career, Schwarber has hit 55 home runs in June, which is 12 more than the second closest month (August). But it’s not just Schwarber that’s heating up. The entire Phillies organization looks unstoppable this month. Take a look at the stats:
Record in June 2023: 13–4
Series Played: 5
Series Won: 5
Philadelphia has three more series to go this month, with the biggest series starting today against Atlanta. If you’ve kept up with the Philadelphia trends in the past year, then you’re well aware that Schwarber is about to go nuclear for the next two months. If you haven’t kept up, then I have two words for you. Well actually, it’s one word. But it could be two words if you break it down.
HOAGIE. FEST.

That’s right, Wawa’s annual Hoagiefest started yesterday. A promotion that offers hoagie lovers a 10-inch sandwich for $4.99. Last season, Phillies fans noted that Schwarber was hitting out of his mind during Hoagiefest, but quickly went into a slump after the Wawa promotion was finished.
In order to bring Schwarber Bombs back for the playoffs, Wawa ran the promotion for a second time last year. The results? More Schwarber home runs. Since then, Hoagiefest and Kyle Schwarber have become some what synonymous with Phillies fans around the country renaming Hoagiefest to Schwarberfest.

Phillies are hoping some of that hoagie magic can make it’s way into their dugout once again this season. As far as Kyle Schwarber goes — I think he’s going to be hitting home runs until early November.
