Korea’s Ministry of Education has set these special zones for international education

Yes, you read it right — the Ministry of Education has designated 12 regions as special zones for international education on 13 July 2023.

These regions include:

  • Jung District, Nam District, and Haeundae District in Busan
  • Seogwipo on Jeju Island
  • Hwaseong in Gyeonggi
