Joseon Survival (2019) is about time travel.

I’ve been indulging my historical K-drama addiction and must have binge-watched at least 20 programs. Some I even watched more than once. It’s 2022 and I still have not gotten enough of them. I have mainly been watching movies and TV series on Netflix and Viki. But every now and then I find some on YouTube.

Interesting way to blend people from modern Korea with the Joseon people of 500 years before, during the 1500s. I enjoyed the show. The lead actors and supporting cast all do a great job of making the unbelievable very believable. At first, since they are people from the future, they think they are in a movie set OR they have stumbled upon a cult group who are into recreating and living in “ancient” Korea. But they soon come to realize that they have actually time traveled. Of course, their primary goal is to get back to where they belong. However, it is very interesting to meet and make friends with real historical figures that they have only read about in books.
