[korea blog] universe ticket | “ownerless” snack shop | took a new walking route | sweet potato day

Watched Universe Ticket till 12 am+ and then did a little bit of planning for work…

Who’s catching this survival show too? 🙋🏻‍♀️

I’ve been wanting to show you my honey pancakes but didn’t get the chance to take a picture.

Here you go!

It comes in a pack of eight each and I got it at 1+1.

A really good deal!

And most importantly, they make a quick breakfast for me.

I’m out for my walk alone today and have to drop in this “ownerless” snack shop because I’ve never been there.

Actually, my aim is to search for this:

Baked eggs 🥚

But it’s so pricey here!

My hubby found a store that sells 3 at 1,000 KRW so…

This is certainly a no-go for me 🤦🏻‍♀️

But there are certain stuff that are affordable so I might be back again soon.

And this hotteok stall is screaming out for me to make a purchase 😆

Not today, but I’ll be back!

The weather looks okay.

It’s pretty sunny and it’s good because this means the snow’s finally melting 🫠

Our eyes met and she ran away from me 😭

Timid little doggo in a pink suit 🩷🩷🩷

It’s so cold but the schoolboys are out playing soccer?! ⚽️

They deserve my respect 🫡

And my most dreaded part is here…

If you’re a stranger to snow, trust me, just walk on snow.

But never zoom past melted snow because they will trip you.

Patches of snow everywhere.

Please…

Leave me alone 🥲

Still, the roads are 90% cleared and safe to walk, just got to look out for those ice patches and slow down a little.

I’ve got no choice but to take the bicycle pathway because the pedestrian walkway is filled with snow ⛄️

Are you a fan of winter?

I’m certainly not a fan of the cold.

Snow is pretty to the eye 👁️ but very dangerous when it melts.

And because of the continuous snow, I couldn’t even head outside for 3 whole days!

I can bear with the heat but certainly not when temperatures are below zero.

Can’t wait for the weather to warm up again.

Anyway, I was on my way back home and spotted a cat 🐈‍⬛

I wanted to go a little closer but someone was staring at me from behind so I left in a hurry 😛

Bought sweet potatoes on my way back home.

It’s only 2,500 KRW a bag!

My hubby says it doesn’t look very good at a glance but I’m of the opposite opinion though.

Popped it in the rice cooker for 35 minutes and here’s what I got for late lunch.

It’s so sweet! 🥹

A healthy meal for me.

Had a cup of instant corn soup to go with after because I needed something to neutralize the sweetness 😝

But these lumps just won’t dissolve…

I’m heading out tomorrow morning so I’ve got lots of work to clear ahead of my schedule.

Time flies and it’s already dinner soon enough.

I had the leftover sweet potatoes I made for lunch and added some steamed broccoli 🥦

It’s pretty bland but what’s a diet if it isn’t? 🥸

And to round up dinner, I had a glass of chocolate milk 🥛🤎

It’s hard to believe how my week is coming to an end just like that.

Maybe it’s the age but it seems like time is never enough ⏳

Oh well…

I need to be a little more efficient with my hours.

And that’s all I have for you today.

I’ll see you in the next blog post, yeah?

Goodbye 👋
