Guys, if you’re planning to apply for TOPIK too, I would suggest that you not wait till the very last minute.

I thought I could breeze through the application process but it took me longer than expected.

I woke up pretty early today, with plans to log in, pay, and secure my seat.

But the system failed me during the application process and I had to start all over again at 10 am.

I was facing some issues with the photo updating part, which kept showing up distorted.

Hmm.

Anyhow, after a few hours of waiting time, I got from 5,000+ people on the waiting list to 613.

I think it was close to noon when the numbers got smaller.

And because I didn’t apply on the 1st day during the registration period, I couldn’t secure a seat at my preferred examination venue nearest to my place.

Oh well, lesson learned.

So, please, do not leave it to the last minute.

Also, competition is fierce here.

Seems like many people are taking TOPIK in Korea.

I wonder why.

Anyhow, fees are paid, and I better get started with some practice and revision.

And because the TOPIK application took up so much of my time, I had breakfast only at 11 am.

As I had to get work done, I gobbled up 2 fried eggs and went back straight to hustle mode.

Dumplings, supposedly for breakfast, were eaten late past lunchtime.

It was surprisingly good though.

I mean, only for 1,600 KRW (1.22 USD)?

That’s insane.

The weather was good as usual.

Took these while out for our daily walk.

Also dropped by Daiso to get some essentials.

Spotted more roses today 🥹

Dropped by a neighborhood market that opens only once a week.

Got some bread and pastries for dinner.

The boyfriend wanted to get some drinks at the mart so off we went.

I took this picture because people were gathering after the ahjumma shouted “30% sale off all items (except shrimps) for 10 minutes”!

Haha.

What an interesting promotion.

Anyway, this melon was on a 30% sale but it costs 9,030 KRW (6.89 USD).

Fruits in Korea are too pricey to have.

Yummy as I’d expected it to be.

Drank some 매화수 (maehwasu) and caught 소년판타지 (Fantasy Boys) before ending the night.

I’ve concluded that 매화수 (maehwasu) needs some side dishes to go with 😏

Otherwise, it’s not that yummy.
