Komorebi
a free verse poem using two beautiful Japanese words

i need a bath, a rejuvination,a shinrinyoku! where my noses, soaks in a lungful, clear, cold, fresh air. where my nerves, feels the wind, caressing playfully on my sensitive skin. eyes, bewildered, gazing the nature’s sublime shiny spectacle, the komorebi! and the soul, sitting back, silently enjoying the merriments, of the body!
Shinrinyoku in Japanese means “forest bath”, like taking a walk in the forest for its therapeutic benefits.
Komorebi in Japanese means “sunlight filtering through tree leaves”.
Thanks to Dr. Mehmet Yildiz for starting this wonderful publication, Salam Khan and Dipti Pande for sheltering a lot of my poems, here!
