Knowledge Is A Muscle

Knowledge can be defined as the information and understanding about a subject which a person has, or which all people have. When you look at knowledge as an analogy of a muscle, you will realize what you are missing every day. The nature of a muscle is that it is a fibrous tissue that contracts and relaxes for movement or change and maintenance of the position of the body.
If the muscle of the economy of the country is built up, we say that the economy is flexible in different seasons, it can go back to normal after a fluctuation. If the country’s economy is built up in this way, there will be the maintenance of its economic position and it will be able to move to another level.
Now, in this world, the one with the more muscle is the one that commands respect. This is much more the same with knowledge. The more knowledgeable one is the one who has more control over things. No one who is without knowledge can control anything. We have already established that light controls matter and knowledge being an analogy of light we say that it has the power of controlling things around. That means the development of something that has got life in it is dependent on what is known.
However, every time that you move, your muscles contract and relaxes, in short, your muscles are exercised. Now have you ever wondered what would happen to you if your muscles were not exercised? When your muscles are not exercised, the part of the body having these muscles will become immobile. Not being able to move and not being able to do anything. Even though you see danger you cannot run the other side of the muscles in your legs are worn out, or dead. Lack of exercises on muscles makes them stiff and rigid to the extent that the person may even become useless in as far as work that needs him to be mobile or use most of his muscles in the body is concerned.
You see, when the muscle is not exercised, it is not the muscle that gets affected but it is the person who is having the muscle. You have to understand that you do not have muscles for no reason. There is a reason for those muscles. Am telling you the truth, for you to be able to eat something, the muscles in your jaws are the ones that work in helping you to break down large molecules of food into smaller ones that you will be able to swallow.
However, if we are talking about the financial muscle of the country. And a muscle being a tissue (a group of cells) by definition. Talking about the financial muscle meaning, this muscle is made of money as cells. If the muscle is not exercised, it becomes stiff and rigid, blood does not pass through meaning the cells cannot move going out and no new cells can come in. in the light of this we can say that, if the financial muscle of a country is not exercised, the muscle will become stiff and rigid, and the money (the cells) will not be able to move to and from to respond to the affairs of the country. The country will be greatly affected financially, not because finances are not there but because the finances are rigid and not able to move in response to the needs of the country.
Now looking at knowledge as a muscle brings a whole new light into what we have already established. See, if we are looking at knowledge as a muscle then we are saying that it needs to be exercised or else it will become stiff and rigid and it will not be able to work for you as it should.
TAKING YOUR KNOWLEDGE TO THE GYM
Oh my, this sounds a little awkward. But hey we are talking about taking your knowledge (muscle) to the gym.
Has it ever dawned on you why people go to the gym? People have been going to the gym from long ago, even long before the times of Samson in the bible (even though Samson was not a gym attendant). However, the sole reason people go to the gym is to build and shape their muscles. Long ago I used to think that those people that go to the gym to lift weights, go there to make muscles, like creating new muscles and having a lot more as an addition to those they already have. But I realized I was thinking about it in the wrong way when I knew what a muscle was. It’s a tissue, a group of cells arranged in layers. So creating a muscle would mean creating a group of cells that must be arranged in layers.
However, with the change of perception, I now look at muscles not as something that can be created but as something that can be built or enlarged. When a person is lifting weights during the process of bodybuilding, the cells in the muscles get torn — like dividing in two and regenerate. In short, bodybuilding or weight lifting brings about a multiplication of cells in the muscles. The pain that is often felt is as a result of cells that divide and regenerate.
So muscles cannot be created that is why those that do not build their bodies and those that do have the same number of muscles in their body. Every person has an equal number of muscles in their body, the difference is in how they are built up. Some got large muscles and some got small muscles that cannot even be seen but they are called muscles anyway. Look at it, everybody has a biceps muscle and a triceps muscle but only those that lift weights have these named muscles in large shape.
In addition to this, muscles are already there in your body structure, whether you do not want to hear it or not. The reason for bodybuilding is because there are muscles that need to be expanded and built up in a certain shape. And you cannot expand or build something to a certain shape if that very thing is not there.
Talking about knowledge in the light of a muscle that cannot be created but only built up and enlarged, brings us to a better understanding of the relevance of acquiring and continued acquisition of knowledge. And if we are looking at it in the way that we are, then we are simply saying that knowledge cannot be created but it can only be built up to the point where the next person is aware that you have it. This is interesting. Nobody can create new knowledge, but everybody can expand from the knowledge they already have.
However, just as a person who has their muscles not built up or enlarged thinks that they got no muscles, people that got their knowledge not expanded or enlarged too think that they do not know.
In conclusion, looking at knowledge as a muscle, you will understand that knowledge is already there in you (just like a muscle, you cannot create it to be inside you because it is already inside you), so all you need to do is to go to the gym and build it. That is why there is nothing new under the sun. I hope you know where your gym is, go for it, and expand your knowledge to be able to expand your ability.
