Six Major Chinese Tea Categories: Benefits
Green tea: Cooling; boosts immunity, brain/heart health
White tea: Cooling; improves bone/brain health
Yellow tea: Cooling; anticancer, anti-inflammatory
Oolong: Cooling/Neutral; lowers cholesterol, supports cognitive, anti-obesity
Red (Black) tea: Warming/Neutral; nourishes stomach, regulates qi, diuretic

Processing characterizes the tea
All true teas are from the plant Camellia sinensis, originating from southwestern China, northern Myanmar, and northeastern India. Chinese discovered it legendarily 4,700 years ago. The darker the tea the more oxidation. Green tea is not fermented, red tea fully so. Every nuance matters.
