The Knights of the Medieval period were warriors who were skilled in fighting on horseback. They were loyal to their Ruler and chivalrous in their ways. The Knights were known for their code of conduct and they were a force to be reckoned with in battle. The skills of horsemanship and the methods, strategies, tactics of warfare are what the Knights of old excelled at on the battlefields.

However, this article is not about those Knights. This article is about “Knight Writers”, a new term I have coined. The “Knight Writers” of our times, would refer to those authors and writers who have a Writer’s Code of Conduct while striving to change the world in a positive way through their writings.

A “Knight Writer” would be capable of getting the simplest, most complex ideas presented in a creative and positive literary piece of work. Such writers are skilled in penmanship and are practiced in the art and the craft of writing, always honing their craft, never resting on their laurels.

To be a “Knight Writer”, a person needs to be dedicated to writing, with the intention of disseminating that information worldwide for global changes to occur. Such a writer would make every piece of writing a positive, satisfying literary experience for the reader.

In our present day, where information is readily available at our finger-tips, we need to present readers with information that is reliable, positive, non-biased, and which enriches the life and reading experience of the reader.

Our readers depend on writers, who can write stories of quality and which guide, assist and inspire them to become the best type of person he or she was born to be. Therefore, a “Knight Writer” would need to keep on refining and polishing his or her craft, with the aid of other like-minded writers and mentors.

The “Knight Writer” uses his or her own life experiences to give value and meaning to their writings. We all have unique individual lives and so have a very different perspective on the world. In order for our readers to benefit from our writings, we are required to share our unique views and opinions on issues that affect us all.

The primary purpose of a “Knight Writer” is to honor, respect, and provide every reader with a non-biased, interesting, pleasant, inspiring, learning, and rewarding experience.
