Kissed by the moon
kissed by the moon you were standing there on a patch of earth the center of gravity
you wore a halo of blonde hair you danced to music only you could feel you spoke in grace notes
when you opened your mouth the sky fell out shattered upon the ground like captured moonbeams
when you smiled galaxies were born far away from here event horizons swallowed me whole
your soft curves defined the shape of longing drops of starlight came to rest all around you I fell down at your feet
growing opaque I lost myself in the darkness of your eyes adrift upon the poetry of your endless night
