King Charles is Suffering From Prostate Problems Like the Rest of Us Men,

Well not quite like the rest of us.

Today Buckingham palace announce that King Charles is being hospitalized for prostate treatment. Join the club Charles. You appears you have an enlarged prostate, or as it’s commonly known, BPH, like the rest of us old guys, all over the world.

Like us fellow sufferers, you have problems peeing, you wake up several times at night having to pee, you dribble, you have urinary urgency, and you have problems “getting it up” with Camilla. And you take medication that doesn’t always help.

But you’re really not like the rest of us are you? Yup, you’re the King of England. You’re royalty. You are privileged. You don’t have Medicare or other medical insurance, because you don’t need it. Your subjects, the taxpayers of the UK, pay all of your medical bills, along with everything else.

You have received some of the best medical care the world has to offer, since the day you were born. You will continue to receive the same high standard of medical care, until you die, hopefully a long time from now. Some of us fellow BPH sufferers don’t have, and never had that kind of care, because, unlike you, we are not privileged.

Personally, I don’t see the sense, importance, or purpose of a royal family when so many millions of people around the world have nothing. Nonetheless, I am very happy that you, with your royal privilege, have embraced the reality of your diagnosis to help the rest of us men. By raising awareness about the importance of diagnosing and treating prostate problems, you are potentially saving millions of lives. For this, I salute you.

May you recover quickly from your treatment and go on to live a long and meaningful life. We are the same age and I’m rooting for you.
