A POEM AND A REFLECTION

Kindred Soul

I’m so glad I found you

Hello you, one I have found, How long have we waited to meet, An instant connection is one we have, As if we had know each other before in a different time, in a different life.

Though similar, we are quite different, Our personal struggles run opposite, Parallel paths that converge in our smiles.

Connecting through our interests, Forged in our laughter and in our tears, And born is a joy, so comforting in this vast and lonely world.

I’m so glad I found you my Kindred Soul.

This past Wednesday was the first time I ever had a sleepover with a friend. It was a wonderful night with laughter, a fire, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and chasing bugs through the night. It was a wonderful time that I truly believe I don’t think I could have done with anyone else. So this poem is dedicated her. Thank you for coming into my life, I’ll be forever thankful.

Thank you all for reading even if it is just one of you. I would really appreciate if you clapped and left a comment. I really do appreciate the engagement.
