Kids are Home for Summer but Learning Continues
Educational websites that stimulate learning
Most of the articles I post try to reduce screen time; however, realistically adults need time to work, relax, and simply breathe. Also, kids benefit when education becomes a part of daily activities and supports lifelong learning.
Below is a HUGE list of valuable sites. They are divided into two categories, elementary and secondary, but some overlap and depending on the maturity and skill level of the child you may want to explore both.
Caution 1: This is an extensive list so do not be overwhelmed and try to access all of them. Just find a site that looks interesting and explore it. Providing children too many options can be overstimulating.
Caution 2: Some of the sites offer a subscription that costs money but it is not necessary. I have only included sites that offer some educational value for free.
