A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys and keys to fit our locks. Then, when we feel safe enough to open the locks, our most authentic selves step out, and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we’re pretending to be.

We can’t deny this passion, the way it binds our spirits and tingles in the air around us. I knew when we met that someday we would be together, and I would never hurt you. One day when you start to let me in, I will tear down your walls of doubt and break — because that is what soulmates do for each other.
