There is a way that seems right to a man, lies & deception to gain all that they can

Filling their pockets with I’ll-gotten gain, & not a care in the world for their trail of pain

The broken souls that they leave within the force of their wake, to pick up the shattered pieces in the life they must make

Silent cries of injustice make their way up to God while He prepares a place for the wicked deep down in the sod

Keeping the faith through the thick & the thin because in the end the deceivers & the like will not win

Keeping the faith through the suffering & pain because in the end, it’s the righteous that will abundantly gain

gain everything back that was stolen or lost & the reward that awaits will by far pass the cost

So if you’ve been beaten down by the pounding waves of this life just remember that this place isn’t all that there is

so continue in gratitude, in peace, joy, and in love to keep your Focus on the eternal because the temporal will fizz
