Summary

The web content reflects on the futility and destructive nature of war, advocating for introspection and intellectual solutions over aggression.

Abstract

The article titled "Justification" under the section "LIFE | INSPIRATION" emphasizes that aggression has no place in humanity. It paints a vivid picture of the contrasting realities of war: the perceived triumph for some versus the loss and damage inflicted upon many. The text critiques the profit-driven motives behind arms sales and the deep scars wars leave on the fabric of society. It suggests that if ideologies, nations, and factions focused on moral debates and intellectual achievements rather than conflict, they could address societal issues and environmental concerns more effectively. The author, Fatima Imam, argues that wars do not resolve problems but instead create long-lasting enmities, indiscriminately destroy, and inflict psychological trauma on all involved, including the aggressors. The article concludes with a call to support the author's writing and a note of gratitude to the Illumination team and readers.

LIFE | INSPIRATION

Justification

Aggression has no place in humanity

The drums of triumph for some. Total loss of identity for thousands. The surge of profits for selling the armaments. Colossal damage to the fabric of humanity.

If warring ideologies could become introspective. If warring nations could combat moral debates. If warring factions could conquer intellectual heights. If warring investments could solve the ailments of Mother Nature.

Wars don’t solve problems as they create timeless animosities. Wars don’t differentiate between sides in their path of destruction. Wars ignite the inner demons in all of us for perpetuity. Wars don’t ponder upon the psychological traumas on the aggressors’ souls.
