1.What is Justice Can’t Wait?
We recognize the racial injustice in this country. Justice Can’t Wait is a social activist organization with the sole purpose of creating social programs in black and marginalized communities. All programs provided are and will be free for the public.
We know that justice can’t wait for politicians to act. To make the changes in our communities that are necessary, we must work together.
“The survival programs provide another important service-they serve as a model for all oppressed people who wish to begin to take concrete actions to deal with their oppression” (Hillard, Newton, & West, 2010).
JCW is an organization that intends to implement these survival programs to directly address these social problems.

2. Who is JCW?
We are an organization founded by young activists and stressed the importance of action over rhetoric. We want to cause positive change through hard work alongside community members. Our organization is small but it’s growing. digital meetings, and help make the change our communities need.
3. What is our mission?
To uplift low-income communities, social services must be created to help individuals and families face their problems directly. Our mission is to create services that provide educational assistance, food banks, and conflict resolution resources.
4. How does JCW succeed?
We succeed when we work together to solve the problems we face in our communities. Creating community centers, we can uplift communities and strengthen the individuals who live there.
5. Weekly Challenge:
Every person who joins JCW does so for their purpose. However, this organization was created in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death. Can you write one paragraph explaining what methods, actions, or policies could prevent deaths like his?
