We are amidst a global storm Of rising injustices and failing leaders Coming to the forefront of our lives Truths, voices, images, pleas Pains, screams, murder, death Showing clearly the depravity Deprivation and disgust Humanity has always fallen to Throughout history we have been shown With every country, race, religion, tribe The pain, anguish, bloodshed Corruption, dishonour and dishonesty Justifications of crimes that are unjust Discriminatory prejudices Morals nonexistent Supremacy overlooking the tears Heartache and anguish Suffering becoming the order of the day Evil atrocities being played out systematically Succumbing to a social media normalcy Humanity becoming immune To what is morally and respectful behaviour Well we ain’t going to just like, comment, move on We will unite as ONE FORCE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS We will overthrow all incompetence, unfairness and malfeasance We will bring crimes to justice We will create power of the people We will rise in strength and beliefs We will challenge outdated systems We will create a moral compass of victory The law of karma will take heed A heart revolution will be the mantra Beating hard for mighty change That has been a long time coming Laying to rest the innocent souls Taken brutally and unlawfully Giving hope, faith and peace To families succeeding rightfully In their long overdue victories Amen amen amen
