Just To Be
#16 Prompt: Unbowed and unapologetic

Confused
and seduced by own ego
too many voices considered intently
concerns swung by favors
righteousness veered by conditions
the sense of belonging to fake modesty
when the world was over
only stillness remains as is
the sun rises behind the heap of dust the pile of rubbish
like a newborn arrives at your feet
Just to be
what is the most sacred unspoken
unbowed and unapologetic
