“Just Stop Buying Them.”
My daughter’s simple, but sound advice

I was taking my daughter to school this morning, and I picked up my favorite thing from my car’s cupholder.
“I’m going to stop eating these,” I said to her.
Confession: I have a terrible addiction to these candies called Necco wafers.
Maybe you’ve seen them? They’ve been around since 1847. I used to eat them as a kid and only recently rediscovered them.
That’s not a good thing because now they sit in my car’s cup holder, sometimes five or six rolls at a time.

I begin eating the little wafers one by one as I take my daughter to school.
“This is a lot of sugar to be eating this early in the morning. Or ever.”, I try to convince myself.
Then my daughter gave me this simple, yet sound advice.
“Just stop buying them.”
I should probably listen to her.
