The best day to publish is : Tomorrow

That sounds like me, or maybe you? I have been editing this draft day after day, kill all my darlings, removing sentences and other stuff that seems to not belong, just making it too long. It was like 21 min, still over 5000 words, I scratch my mind, it just keeps on growing and leaves me more confused than before.

My passion for writing and ADHD is a funky combination, fighting to get the structure I like and need. Every evening I disappear into that draft for hours. What is it about? Hmm, writing …

Oh, No another one, there are so much of advice, stories, course, and classes out there, why didn't you choose a different topic?

What your heart contains will the mouth tell.

People can’t stop talking about themselves and what’s on our minds. Simply spoken, if someone looks, studies, or have passion for a topic, they will talk about.

It’s logic, we become what we take in. If you want to become a good writer, we don’t study bricklaying or coding. Nope, we will read books, follow our favorite writers, picking up some more tips and go on.

We can’t get enough, money is not an issue, an honest passion will not stop by itself, so you will benefit from it. But is no guarantee or any secret sauce that will make you succeed.

Criticism is dangerous and comments can be twisted, some people love to take word out of the sentence and use them against you.

When you choose to write for a living on sites like Medium, a book or magazines, critics and comments will become a part of your life. So we have to stand behind our words, to write about something you have no knowledge about it's not a good idea. It will make you look stupid, readers will recognize quality and talents.

Learn to read between the lines, and you get the whole story…

YOU choose the amount of time used on criticism, comments, observations and, statements. Watch out for energy thieves, they love to steal your time and attention, just like parts of Facebook…

If you like to know people fast and instant, go on a cabin trip for some days, make sure there ain’t no power, have some dry wood ready to be chopped, no hot water, no signals strong enough to use net, an outdoor toilet who is comment in my country and do it in the winter time. Masks will fall off, and it’s honestly difficult to be someone that is not you.

I love hiking, nature makes me quiet and thankful, life is so much more than writing online like one of the top writers said in a story. Don’t get stuck, find your structure and your passion is turned into a job, the value of the content will be up to you.

All good investments will increase, to create quality takes time but it will last.

Why make people write about writing?

I will guess different reasons, some of us love to write and never stop, others want to make money and will learn on their way. The points are what you already know, keep on writing, do your best in the new job, lock back after a year. You might be surprised, when working every day with what you like to do, it’s difficult to not be a better writer

All the stories about stats, money, screenshots, how much $$$ and so on it’s like shit to flies and creates unrealistic expectations.

So here I am slipping into that draft who starts to act like a ghost, my last thought before bed last night was: “who wants to spend over 20 min reading a story”? That would depend on the content, but a good. I don't mind that, when we fail, we learn and go on. Nothing too loose and people forget fast.

It’s all written before but not by you

We all have our own language and style. Everyone copies, learn and steal from good writers, but you have to twist it around and make it yours.

Steel like an artist and do your best.

We learn as the journey goes on but if I never hit that publish button, there will be none and can just keep on dreaming…

I read a lot and, the popular stories seem to be around 5 min. But I would never underestimate articles, if the writer catches my attention I don’t stop.

That’s the challenge and the art of it. The way you write and choice of words and to make it flow. Too complicated, no good, it gets boring if you are not writing for a publication and your topic needs some depth.

It always a if or exception from the rules, I like rule breakers. They have a tendency to succeed, people don't seem to like that, but they don’t care what others think or say about them. Then you have reached a high level of freedom.
