Just Don’t Be An Asshole
Poetry prompt day 11

Dear future self, I just want to tell you, Don't be an asshole, Try to love yourself, More and more. No matter what has happened, Today is the moment to forget, All the bad moments, And start a new journey. A journey from where you try to be a better person, A journey from where you start to love yourself, A journey from where you can start to trust yourself. I know you made mistakes, I know you have regrets, But believe me future is waiting for you, To give you a chance, To improve your life. Don't compare your life, You will always find something less in yourself, And more in others, So, be yourself And the rest will be taken care of. Just trust the process, Life will have some amazing plans for you, So don't worry if life doesn't go as your plans, There is always something better waiting for you, To make you a better person.
As a human being, I made mistakes. There were days when I felt like a loser. There were days when I thought I am nothing. There were days when I felt I am good for nothing.
I know you all face this situation at some stage in your life. It's just become so hard to just believe in yourself because we failed or we feel that we can't do it.
Therefore, this is the poem I wrote to my future self. I try to make a better version of myself.
I want to get rid of self-doubts. I hope you all will have something to say to your future self. Therefore, today's prompt is
Write a poem to your future self.
What do you want to say to your future self? How do you want to make your future self a better version of yourself than the one in the past?
I hope that you will like today’s prompt.
