Just a Little Murder Hobo Dribble
The Restaurant at the Precipice of the Galaxy

I’ve been a little short on creativity recently. I’d come to the conclusion that my muse had packed their bags and left for good, leaving me wallowing in a sea of disjointed words that were going nowhere.
However, just as I was drowning in metaphorical alphabet soup, a light appeared, and a voice called, ‘Come to the dark side, we have challenges.’ Okay, so that might have been my overactive imagination, but it sounds better than I was aimlessly scrolling through a conversation and came across the seedling challenge (Which is what actually happened).
Anyway, enough rambling. I’ve brought back some well-loved characters for this attempt at the challenge. So without further ado, here is my Dribble.

The Not-So-Great Escape
A blinding light surrounded the adventurers, and a voice boomed, “Come, come, adventurers. Come aboard my airship. I will save you from your pursuers.”
Dave blinked at the strange man in front of him. The town guards were closing in on them, and they were fast running out of options.

Thanks to Bradan Writes Stories for the challenge; it may just be the kick up the backside I need. Colleen Millsteed, fancy giving this a try?
