Jumping in a Puddle and Displacing the Water Has Some Magical Attraction.

I Want You to See, Hear, Taste, Smell, and Feel the Way I Did When I Write Stories.

One of my current goals is that you can imagine yourself next to me while you are reading my writings.

This is a stretch goal that I will work harder to attain.

What if I recall that time in my life when I was younger, I jumped in a puddle, and how at that moment I felt?

I had none of the concerns that would be upon me later in life. I would start out the day with a morning breakfast. Some days, oatmeal and milk, others bacon and eggs, other days might be toast only. Washed my hands and it was time to go out and play.

Playing many times was by myself because we lived where few children my age existed. That was ok with me because I could also invent something to do or investigate. Bugs to look for or at was an option almost year-round.

I do not, to this day, recall what the fascination was, but jumping in a puddle and displacing the water had some magical attraction. Some rainy days occasionally I will put a foot in a puddle and dislodging the water, and experience that same magical effect. Try it the next time the opportunity is in front of you.

I have since the days of younger experienced many versions of jumping in a puddle to see what happens. I expect to write for the next thirty years, leaving help for others along their journey, as well as memories for family and friends to read.

Time and opportunities seemed endless and forever when I was young. Although I have aged, I still see many opportunities ahead in the years to come.
