"Life is not a destination, but a journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected detours. Embrace each step, for it is through the journey that we discover ourselves, find our purpose, and create the beautiful tapestry of our lives." -Unknown

As you all know, I’ve been absent from Medium since the last month as I was in the middle of chaos. I was in the deep pain that life offered me with uncertanity. I could not figure out the emotions I felt inside myself. It was a time when I discovered another side of life, which was filled with darkness and uncertainty. It demanded a lot of patience and courage from me to deal with the struggles that I have faced. If you want to learn more about it, you can read the below article.

Moreover, that time of life taught me a lot of things that I will remember for the rest of my life. There is no more hard and painful thing in this world than seeing your loved ones in pain. It evoked a complex and intense range of emotions within me. I felt helplessness and powerlessness, which was very frightening. On the other side, my heart was filled with sadness, worry, and guilt. I wish that God had chosen me rather than my loved ones to cause the pain.

I have learned that life is so uncertain that in just a second, your entire world can change, and you have no control over it. I have realized that life is out of our control. We can only seize today by doing what we love to do. Live your life to the fullest; you never know what is going to happen in the next few seconds.

Lastly, learning to trust in the process of life can provide solace and peace of mind. Trusting that everything happens for a reason, even if we can’t always see it at the moment, can help us surrender to the flow of life and have faith in the ultimate unfolding of our individual paths.

This week’s prompt is,

Write a poem that captures the essence of life’s journey, focusing on the beauty, challenges, and wisdom gained along the way. Consider incorporating imagery, metaphors, and emotions to evoke a deeper understanding of life’s intricacies.

I want to invite all the poets from Lifeline. I hope you will like this prompt.
