WEIRD POETRY MONTH
July
The Southern hemisphere has it backwards
It used to be my summer When July was much funner Now my B-day’s quite cold And I’m getting old Ain’t that a kick in the bummer
Now my Decembers are hot ’Tis the season, it’s not Poor little boy drummer Christmas in summer? I’m sorry, that I cannot
So Christmas in July I’ve heard Santa sigh It isn’t the same This hemisphere’s to blame All I can say is ‘nice try’.
Thanks again for another entertaining tag, Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她). Love your work.
Here’s to the next, show us in text. Pick one of twelve and have a good delve. Dave Logan, Jennifer McDougall, VV Valentine, Carlos Garbiras, Tree Langdon
