Joy
Of Creation

That quaint little place By my terrace The swing, the blooms With some pigeon Menace, Where the azure calls With arms stretched Within the concrete jungle My green oasis etched, Floating to destinations yonder I see the nebula silver Whom Chirpy winglets befriend Along my mind takes a bend.
Lost in the melange tinted My thoughts travel to places Un-hinted, Where clouds make their home Without fences My existence alive in every senses. Mind sky rains the words In rhyme Entwined with notes Un-rhymed My soul creates that music Unheard Clearing the maze poetry forms — From my mind so blurred.
A chirpy winglet loner In a bough Leaves to the passing Whiff, bow The sun to the earth Kisses blow —
It is when I find my creativity flow!
Author’s Note:
At the onset, thank you Trista Signe Ainsworth for including me in your world. I love the name “Thank You Notes” and it says so many things in so few words. Your prompt “what’s your creative joy” is amazing and I really wanted to participate to share my side of the story.
On the Painting:
Though I had the poem the very day I read the prompt, I took some time to get the painting ready. An article is never complete without it, as paintings are where my creativity took birth, long before I started painting with words.
For further information about the prompt do check the article provided below:
Thank you for taking note as always.
