Journey Inside Light
A poem when we discover a need for vulnerability with love

When your world goes grey,
and the stars you grasp begin to fade.
My horn I blew twice that day,
once with birth your heart she will break,
learning pains sound a life you take.
I will trumpet again upon your death,
thunder storms rain pouring out your breath.
I’ve traveled a path between all of your hate,
a trail to follow past life’s false gate.
Travel with me and we shall walk hand in hand,
wonder with me through your Cosmic plan.
Learn to lean into sorrow,
we will find out there is no time to borrow.
You’ve masked innocence among rough years,
allow for me to lean toward those tears.
A torrent of pain concealed by lies,
now we connect inside tired eyes.
I witness your carnage from lessons buried inside,
a darkness of grief I am able to find.
You feared to abandon dreams painted real,
shiver to stop spinning life’s wheel.
You feared finding joy promised inside,
I am awareness and conscious Divine.
You will now see a world with my sight,
division in time with nothing to fight.
I am your conscious life rolled inside one,
whole core of your spirit everything done.
You witnessed a truth that was not mine,
follow me to this place deep inside.
A home you’ve cocooned by fear to contrive,
journey among trials forgetting to find.
We’ve come to our source where everything shines,
I am you waiting infinite loves mind.
