Welcome to the talk

Hi animal lovers, as a new year begins with the end of the holidays, many became pet parents and started this 2022 with a new furry member of the family.

Pet Talks is a space where you can share your experiences as a pet parent or animal lover.

Why Pet Talks?

I know by experience that owning a pet is s source of endless stories. We learn from them, laugh with and at them and even cry with them. Every day is a new adventure for a pet parent because we never know what they will come up with.

I've been working with animals for the last ten years and if anything I am sure that we always have something to share about them.

1. Accepted Topics

We accept essays, journal entries, short stories, open letters, poetry, fiction, and non-fiction related to animals.

2. How to use images

  • All images MUST be credited appropriately and include the Photographer's name and website.
  • If you are the owner of the images, don't forget to mention that.
  • Stock images are accepted from websites like but are not limited to Pixabay, Unsplash, Pexels, Styled Stock, Life of Pix, PicXclicX, Picography, Ivory Mix.

3. Proofread before submitting.

  • Before making your submission make sure you proofread your work to minimize the mistakes.
  • Before submitting, I strongly recommend using Grammarly or Hemingway editor grammar check apps.

4. Don't forget

  • Have private notes open for us to be able to communicate.
  • Remember to appropriately capitalize your title and make sure you include a subtitle.
  • Interact with others writers, clap, highlight, tag, and comment on their work.
  • Let's have fun, learn about animals and create awareness on animal welfare.
