Happy Valentine’s Day, Debbie!
You may not get this today, and that’s okay.
But I’m publishing it just for you on Valentine’s Day.
Not just the cards, candy, and flowers day, but the day you get a new hip. So let’s all say, hip, hip, hooray!
We’re holding you in our prayers for a thorough recovery–-which is much more important than a speedy one. We spoke earlier today about the value of going to Rehabilitation for however long it’s offered.
Not only would you have easy access to physical and occupational therapy, you’d get a break from all the demands on you at home. And you sure deserve that break!
Raising your grandkids can be exhausting.
Take this opportunity to rest if you can.
Hip, hip, hooray!
Laughter is the best medicine.
Norman Cousins knew that from personal experience.
A severe and painful connective tissue disease put him flat on his back in a New York City hospital. Watching Marx Brothers movies and Candid Camera reruns from his bed eased the intense pain. Ten minutes of belly laughing gave him two pain-free hours.
