You have to give it input.

In my opinion, those are the primary cons of using Jasper. However, there is no magic software that can do all of those things right now, so Jasper is about as good as it gets when it comes to an AI writing assistant.

The major pro when it comes to Jasper is that the software is relatively inexpensive, especially for what it does. It can also help you increase your writing productivity ten-fold or even 100-fold.

Jasper AI Tutorial — How to Use

There are two main methods for getting Jasper to write content for you:

1. Writing Templates — best for beginners.
2. Recipes — best for advanced users who want to create their own custom writing templates.

If you’re just starting with Jasper, I recommend starting with the writing templates because they are simple and intuitive to use.

We’ll get into Jasper’s recipes later. First, let’s explore the writing templates.

How to Use Jasper AI’s Writing Templates

When you get into Jasper, you can start creating a new piece of content by selecting the “Documents” tab on the left-hand side of the screen.

You can choose to “start from scratch” or use the “blog post workflow.”

I usually start from scratch because it gives me the most flexibility and freedom to write.

Once inside the document, you can start using Jasper’s extensive template options listed on the left.

Using the Paragraph Generator Template

The template that I use the most, by far, is the paragraph generator. This is great for writing introductory paragraphs and getting ideas flowing.

Type a sentence or phrase into the box, and Jasper will write you a fully formed paragraph like this:

If you like Jasper's writing, you can move that text into your main document on the right.

If you’d like Jasper to give you more options, click the “Compose” button again until it gives you something you can work with.

Once you have some introductory content in the document, you can place your cursor at any point where you would like to add text. Then click “Compose,” and Jasper will continue writing where you left off.

In less than a minute, I “wrote” about 200 words from one simple phrase. This would normally take me 10–15 minutes to do on my own.

I do highly recommend editing the content Jasper gives you.

It’s usually pretty good, but sometimes there are minor grammatical mistakes or phrases that could be cleaned up or rephrased to sound more natural.

Grammarly also works with Jasper, making this a super powerful piece of productivity software for creating written content.

Let’s look at a couple more templates.

Using the Content Improver Template

We all have those days when our brains don’t feel like working at maximum capacity.

When burnout strikes and writer’s block sets in, I head over to Jasper’s content improver template.

Pop in a paragraph that you wrote (or had Jasper write for you), and it will polish it up for you.

How to Write Affiliate Product Reviews using Jasper AI

If you’re an Amazon affiliate or do referral marketing for brands or software, you can use Jasper AI to help you write product reviews to boost your commissions and conversion rates.

For this, I like to use Jasper AI’s copywriting templates. Currently, Jasper has three copywriting framework templates you can use:

1. AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action),
2. PAS (Problem, Agitate, Solution), and
3. BAB (Before-After-Bridge).

These three copywriting frameworks are commonly used in the marketing and advertising industry to create content that persuasively sells products and services.

Here’s an example of the AIDA Framework template in action:

For this example, I’m using Jasper’s AIDA writing template to start writing an affiliate product review for a portable vacuum cleaner that I found on Amazon.

I entered the name of the product in the “Company/Name” field. Then I added information from the Amazon product description and clicked “Generate AI Content.”

This is what I got:

As you can see, this is a great start to a review. From here, I can my own content or use Jasper’s “Compose” feature to expand on what was written above.

How to Create Amazon FBA Product Descriptions Using Jasper AI

If you’re an Amazon seller, you can use Jasper AI to quickly write product descriptions. Simply enter the product name and key benefits or features.

Jasper will then return a well-written product description that you can edit and use on your listing. You can also add your own affiliate links.

How to Script YouTube Videos Using Jasper AI

If you’re a YouTuber, Jasper currently has five different templates that can help you write video scripts.

Simply enter the topic of your video and Jasper will return a script outline that you can use to create your video.

You can also use Jasper to to come up with video ideas, create SEO optimized titles, create a video “hook” and introduction, and write your video description.

Edit the script as needed and add your own personal touches. This is a must-have tool for every YouTuber. It will give you a huge advantage by saving you time.

How to Write an Email Using Jasper AI

You can use Jasper AI to write email content.

Jasper currently has two templates for email:

1. The email Subject lines template will create an attention grabbing subject line.
2. The Personalized Cold Emails template will create the body of your email.

Simply enter the subject of your email, add and facts or information that you want to include and Jasper will return a well-written email that you can edit and use.

How to Write Blog Posts and Articles Using Jasper AI

You can use Jasper AI to write blog posts and articles.

Jasper currently has four templates to help you create this type of content quickly:

1. Blog Post Topic Ideas template
2. Blog Post Outline template
3. Blog Post Intro Paragraph template, and
4. The Paragraph Generator template.

Simply enter the topic of your article and Jasper will return a well-written outline that you can edit and use. Use the intro paragraph template to create your opening content.

Then, use the Paragraph Generator template to fill in the remaining sections.

If you have access to the “Compose and Command” feature in Boss Mode, you can also have Jasper fill in content and you can ask it to write a succinct summary or conclusion.

Jasper is a powerful tool that can help you create content quickly and easily. However, it’s important to remember that Jasper is not a replacement for human writers.

While Jasper AI can create great content, it’s still best to edit and revise the content before you publish it. After all, no software is perfect. If you’re looking for a tool to help you create content faster, Jasper AI is definitely worth checking out.

Can Jasper AI Write Fictional Stories?

Jasper AI is not currently able to write fictional stories. However, the team is working on this feature and it may be available in the future.

However, Jasper AI can write creative stories. Simply enter the plot of your story in to the “Creative Story” template and Jasper will return a well-written story that you can edit and use.

How to Create a Facebook Ad Using Jasper AI

You can use Jasper AI to write Facebook ads. Jasper currently has two templates that will help you write compelling ads:

1. The Facebook Ad Headline template, and
2. Facebook Primary Text template.

Simply enter the company or product name along with a short description into the headline template and Jasper will give you several headline options like this:

Then, enter the same information in the “Facebook Ad Primary Text” template, like this:

Then, all you have to do is edit the content to your liking and paste it into the Facebook ads platform.

How to Create Google Ads Using Jasper AI

Jasper AI also creates Google ads. Jasper has two templates for this as well:

1. A headline generator, and
2. A Google ad description template.

Is Using Jasper AI to Create Content Unethical?

It depends.

Are you trying to rip off someone else’s intellectual property?

Then yes.

Are you trying to make Jasper write a slightly different version of someone else’s book?

Yeah, that’s unethical.

Just like normal human writing can be unethical, Jasper can be used for malevolent purposes too.

But the tool itself is not unethical. In fact, Jasper comes with a built-in plagiarism checker.

As I said, Jasper AI is a writing assistant.

It is a tool that helps you come up with ideas, outline your content, and create content fast.

But, you have to give some input.

I like to think of Jasper as a Hollywood actor, and I’m the director. Jasper can do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to writing. But ultimately, it’s up to me to decide what content makes the final cut.

Do I need a degree to use Jasper AI?

No, you don’t need a degree to use Jasper AI. The software is designed to be used by anyone, regardless of their education level.

Can You Use Jasper AI for Academic Writing?

Yes, you can use Jasper AI for academic writing. The software can help you with research, citation, and writing. However, it is not a replacement for a good understanding of academic conventions.
