January Writing Prompts: 24th — 28th

My Prompt Return: deuces are wild!

Photo by Muaz AJ on Unsplash

I started writing this on the 22nd day of 2022. It is the first article I have written since early August. That isn’t completely honest. Many articles have been thought about, outlines, or penned but not typed, but none have survived to the point of hitting submit. Not that little has happened in my life since August, on the contrary, the past months since my last published article been some of the most eventful in my life. The stories will get written if they are meant to be shared, but the point of this post I have realized was twofold. Firstly, to inspire your thoughts and creativity with this week’s writing prompts. I volunteered for the second week, not even thinking about the second purpose. The second purpose, and arguably the more challenging one as it turns out, is to hit the submit button. This I will have to do because I made a commitment. Let’s get to it then.

With all these twos running around in the twenty-second year of this millennium, it seems silly not to use them for inspiration.

Deuces are wild in the year 2022, so what two things would you like to see happen in 2022?

Stories to come, but my first Fur kid is left back at my old house to keep watch. Cotton is laying at rest at the spot she used to watch for me at the fence near the driveway. I could always trust her to be there no matter what time I arrived home. I know she wasn’t always there because people would tell me. Cotton will look out for my new tenants and the house until she greets me at Rainbow Bridge someday. She is with me in my heart and always will be. She taught me so much about unconditional love and so much more. So your challenge:

Share a lesson from a beloved pet or fur friend you know.

There comes a point in some situations we find ourselves in where we have dealt with all we could. Finally, we come to the point where we say “ENOUGH!” You do something to change or resolve the situation.

Share something you have said “enough” to or something you feel you need to say “enough” to. Soon.

Finally, most of us have just been through the time of the year where we celebrate according to our beliefs. I wish for us to make this more personal.

Share something you celebrate about yourself or something you should celebrate about yourself.

I look forward to the amazing posts that will make me clicking submit inspirational enough to hit it regularly in the future.

So the Prompts are:

  1. Deuces are wild in the year 2022 so what two things would you like to see happen in 2022?
  2. Share a lesson from a beloved pet or fur friend you know.
  3. Share something you have said “enough” to or something you feel you need to say “enough” to. Soon.
  4. Share something you celebrate about yourself or something you should celebrate about yourself.

A refresher, we don’t have any rules. There is no rules but more prompts will be published next week so to not fall behind keep submitting and looking out for them. Importantly, don’t forget to tag KTHT and one of or all of our editors so that we don’t miss it. We are: Ravyne Hawke, jules, Diana C., and Spyder
