Happy New Year new stories are here
The year is in. I don’t know about you, but for me it has been a very busy two weeks. I have collated some of our stories here for you to read just in case you haven’t caught up yet. This has been difficult because there are so many to choose from, but I know you will enjoy them so it was worth taking the time.
It turns out that there are plenty of you with stories to share about how you got to well. This is so encouraging.
In week one we learned to take things slowly when feeling depleted. Joanna Rodriguez reflects on how taking up a hobby we have left by the wayside can reinvigorate us:
As the second week of January draws to a close, we learn from @RhondaGrice that a diagnoses might not be the end of the road and that challenging a prognosis and even keeping track of symptoms can lead to surprising discoveries about what is making you unwell:
Mae Salinas reflected on the power of friends to lift us and support us in times of need:
Jay Wala reminds us that breathing is an exercise we might do well to include in our daily wellness plan and gives us some tips and techniques to include in our daily wellness practices:
Tooth Truth Roopa Vikesh shares an inspiring journey to wellness after surgery:
C.D. reminds us that growth does not happen without change:
Have you made any resolutions? How will you get to well? Do write to us and share your journey.
Please read the guidelines first:
Once again, thanks to Me and My Muse for stepping up for the month of January as guest editor and for stepping in for additional editing duties, as my internet is currently ropey this week. I think I shall head for the coffee shop to edit this week. Do keep sending us your stories. We love reading them.
