I’ve grown a love of fruit salads and have lazily gone to the local store to buy them.

I haven’t developed a keen sense of picking ripe fruit in all my shopping years, so picking out a carton of prepackaged fresh fruit has worked out well.

I gravitate toward the melons and I’m not sure why until I looked up their benefits.

Melons are low in sodium, and very low in saturated fat and cholesterol. They are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin K, potassium, and copper, and a very good source of vitamin C and vitamin B6.”

I instantly feel a lift after eating them and I never realized you could get vitamin C from fruits other than citrus.

Huh!

It’s incredible how our bodies tell us what we need even if we’re unsure of the advantages.
