It’s Starting to Smell Like Christmas!
Dancing Elephants prompt 11 of 52
Who else loves this holiday?! 🎅
To start off this week’s prompt, I would like to say that there is so much going on around December. You have to finish off projects at your job to end the year on good notes, you have to do Christmas shopping, start to prepare of course…the Christmas dinner and oh don’t forget the New Year’s Eve dinner too and wait…there is always so so much to do!
Of course, all the tasks provided above will give a satisfying reward after accomplishment but sometimes, it can be a little too much.
With that being said, this prompt is about what you do to relax in between all your to-do’s to maintain your all-around wellness.
I have friends that always go out the second week of December to enjoy a nice staycation and others who prefer to do all personal activities throughout November and at the beginning of December so that they have leisure time later on which helps them enjoy these holidays and so much more.
Honestly for me, and compared with other years, I think I am falling way back behind but…there is still plenty of time right? 😆
But on a high note, what I love to do to relax on these holidays is to…
MAKE HOT CHOCO!
It may seem super simple to just grab two or three ingredients but the outcome is the best. We all gather around the fireplace to watch one of the classic Christmas movies and just sit tight under our blankets.
This year, everyone in my family has fortunately started so many new things but that caused fewer moments like these. So I already started to use December as an excuse to sit everyone down and just enjoy some movie time, talk about random things and enjoy a nice warm cup of hot choco.
But would you like to make this even more top-notch? For the past few years, hot chocolate bombs have been the new viral sensation, and no wonder…they are gorgeous and make everything look prettier and fancier.

All in all…what do you do to maintain a healthy mental state throughout Christmas?
