It’s Okay If You’re Not The Expert
Here’s what you can do to help close the gap
It’s a good feeling to be the expert on something, but often, we’re not the experts, and this is OKAY!
Problem 1: We struggle to admit we’re not the expert when we know we aren’t.
Solution 1: Admit you’re not the expert. Then work to become more knowledgeable take the time to acquire knowledge and expertise.
Problem 2: Ourselves and others try to make us believe we need to be an expert; often, this is not the case.
Solution 2: More often than not, we don’t need to be the expert. Instead, it would serve ourselves and others more if we leveraged the knowledge of others and learned how to apply it effectively.
Final Thought: Always embrace your lack of expertise from a foundation of humility.
