It’s OK to live in the GREY area

Life is not black and white

I admit I used to be a very black and white thinking person. If I did something wrong…I was SHIT.

If I made a mistake I WAS one.

SCREW THAT! There’s always a grey area.

If I didn’t maintain my cheerful attitude or happy mood or if I didn’t get a good review when I sang for a living or if I had a crabby day — yadda yadda…. I was down.

I was in the black.

I didn’t know that there was an ‘in between’ space.

There was grey.

OHHhhhH!!

Now I’m learning that its OK and just fine to be the ‘grey’ color.

Hey, some days I’m just not feeling very rah rah . I am not super duper positive.

I’m drab.

So what?

Think of Nature

Not every sky is bright and sunny. Some days are downright gloomy. Some are cloudy and dreary. Some are dismal and dark.

But, every sky is a part of nature.

It’s all good.

Dark, Bright, Grey and in between.

Grey might be just fine!

I have two grey cats and hey they’re not worried.

They KNOW they’re perfect. haha.

PURR-FECTION lies in the grey too..says my grey boy!

My therapist recommended I live more in the grey. Not expect too many highs or lows. Stay in the middle. Stay in the grey.

I think this is part of maturity and peace of mind too.
