It’s All About Money. Or Is It?

You will never create something of value, thinking only about filling your pockets! Money goes only to those with solutions. Think about it.

Okay, maybe the client I talked on emails triggered me to write this or maybe this is just something that I’ve been dying to express until now.

It’s not all about getting more and more and more stuff. Life is more than that. And no, this isn’t some soul-touching piece where I get to say what’s right and you applaud me for it.

Do as you please and I will say what I think.

The Greed Pandemic

Covid should be the second one on our “stressing-out” list. Greed must be the first. You see, wherever I turn my eyes I see shiny cars and people wearing the latest Gucci shoes and sporting their newest iPhone while sitting across from each other at a coffee table and not saying one single word.

Whatever has happened to the human touch.

And I am calling it a pandemic because it is a worldwide, brain disease that is sucking off our very soul. A youngster trying to become the new European Youth Ambassador just to get more fame, hence more connections to more powerful people and glamorize the well-being of the rich.

Well, guess what?

Most Of Us Come From Poor Families

And no, I don’t care how this affects my subconscious programming so shut up for now Joe Dispenza. I’m trying to vent here.

It is what it is and it is how I say it:

We come from poor families.

So, whenever I see the next pop star showing off their car and some entrepreneur on Founder talking about how to build a 7-figure business in three months, it just makes me sick to my stomach.

Yo, we can’t relate to what you’re saying. I’ve never owned an expensive car. I drive my dad’s old, beaten-up Benz and wreck the bumper once in a while. And as far as “business”… I want to help 1 million people feel better about who they are and realize their true potential, WHICH DOESN’T LIE IN MAKING MORE MONEY.

Damn it, you got me yelling.

Whatever Happened To Respect

Everyone just wants more, and more, more… more money. And the idiot who can’t spell his own name but has a Porche gets the most respect in the game because, in the eyes of the people, he’s a hustler.

He worked hard and he became successful, (=money), and now he gets to have fans and people who pray for him and beg him on the comment section to reveal his secrets.

It’s BS, and I’ve had it.

And no, I’m not hating nor complaining because I don’t have one million bucks. But, I am saying “suck it” to these expensive idiots who can’t spare a thought, and to you for supporting them and making them famous, rich, and powerful.

Have You Ever Truly Saved Someone

You know, there are other people, no… souls, living around you. Have you ever cared about what struggles they are facing in their lives? Oh, that’s right, you got your own trouble to deal with because the baby’s crying and you don’t know how you’ll pay the rent for next month.

Then why the hell is you on Instagram looking at your fake friends sporting their fake happiness in pictures that are overloaded with ten quintillion filters to make a cow’s buttocks look like a God damn model?! Riddle me that.

I’m Sick Of Payments

Just received another Facebook notification telling me to pay the due amount of my ads, $125 in total. Suck it, Zuck, what you’re going to do about it, huh?

That’s why I’m on Medium. Because it is a platform that somehow ranks people on the skill, and value, not just some damn dog stealing the show from the pope and goes viral because of it. And Pubity’s owner fills his own pockets with that because as long as people love watching pets, drama, toxic relationship advice, cars, money, pranks, and memes, then the business will boost as ever.

Oh by the way, heh… viral.

I’m Sick Of Brainwashing Terms

Social media “user”. Terms and Conditions. Privacy Policy. Comments and likes and shares and saves and… viral.

Do you see it already or do you need an extra pair of $4,000 Cartier glasses for better sight and understanding?

It’s a disease, (hence greed pandemic). You, the user is addicted to comments, likes, shares, and following their Terms and Conditions precisely while making sure to not breach the Privacy Policy in the hopes of going viral.

Going viral. Viral infection.

Oh, (lol), it’s a viral post that has been seen and shared, and liked by millions of users. And the owners of this thing don’t care who or what goes viral, as long as money is pouring in their accounts. Bring it on.

It’s About Love

You know, my cousin owns a brand new BMW but his soul is missing. Most of my clients want me to bring more money into their business through my writing.

“I’m not seeing any testimonies from people telling me that you made them a ton of money,” said the last A-hole.

And I cut him off because I am in this life to bring smiles and joy and inspiration for life while I tell stories of me loving my wife and going through struggles but still fight.

It’s About Connections

Last night, I and my friends were eating a cheap 60cm pizza while drinking cheap beer and watching 1917, and for a moment I felt blessed to have such simple people in my life.

Most of these other leaches want to know how much you’re making, where are you investing, what clothes are you wearing, how many places have you traveled, and a long list that revolves only around fleshy pleasures all fueled by an amount of cash, (trash), that most of the people can’t afford.

She suffers from anemia, but posts sexy photos of her by a beach with a caption that looks like this:

“Live your life in the now and don’t let it just pass by.”

If you were living your life in the now you would put down your phone and enjoy that moment, and if you would post online you would actually teach people how to do what you’re doing or at the very least how to feel better about who they are no matter their conditions.

It’s About The Small Things

One hug, one kiss, one “I love you” text in the morning to your dear ones or even your followers. It doesn’t hurt you and it spreads good feelings instead of meaningless dopamine when they see you smiling and frozen with a mountain view in the background.

Are you appreciating anything around you? And don’t tell me your family, your friends, and yourself, but tell me things I have not heard of before like the homeless guy staying at the corner, (Socrates), that feels so familiar for a second.

Tell me about the pain and tell me that you are thankful for the rain and tell me that you are grateful for that one stain on your shirt because it revealed to you that things can get dirty and still be worthy of value.

Final Thoughts

I will say I made it when songs like Maniac from Connan stop going “viral” because we don’t know both sides of the story and it doesn't really help our kids learn something from it.

Or maybe, when people like Jeff Bezos stop getting billions and billions of dollars but all of us are equally valued for what we are.

I will say that I’m there when I walk the streets and I don’t hear roaring engines but people laughing and smiling and working together because they actually want to build something worthwhile.

I will gladly close my eyes to leave this Earth and join the eternal realm when your money disappears and love and true respect and compassion blooms within you.

I am happy right now, and I will continue to be but please from me, learn one thing:

Being a good human being is the most valuable of assets you could ever ask for.

Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap.
