It’s May!

Orange you glad?

I love to eat orange food. Peaches. Mangoes. Apricots. Carrots. Oranges. Kumquats. Cantaloupes. Sweet potatoes. Pumpkins. Egg yokes. Sharp cheddar cheese.

As can be seen, I am not a vegan but I do eat a lot of fruits and veggies. I’ll eat anything that is orange.

When I am at the grocery store I spend a lot of time in the produce section. It’s a good thing they don’t charge rent for the time I spend there. I have noticed quite a few things about the produce supply chain. For one thing, I have noticed that whenever the price of a certain fruit or vegetable goes up the quality goes down. And when the price comes down the quality goes up. Has anyone ever noticed that before?

That is why I always get excited in the month of May. It is the month when the price of mangoes drastically drops and the quality drastically increases. May is mango month — at least in all the grocery stores I have ever frequented.

When I was at the grocery store the other day I saw a big bin table filled with nothing but mangoes. I was instantly aroused. I went over to the table and picked up a mango. I gently felt the texture of it. It was perfect. I smelled it. It was perfect. I closed my eyes and held the mango in both hands reading its vibrations. It was perfect. I went through this process with many mangoes and filled a bag with them.

Then I looked at the price sign. They were 48 cents each. Just a month ago they were 98 cents each and they were all shriveled and devoid of vibratory resonation. Gosh I love May!

And I just love starting my day with a juicy mango — that is, after I am finished with my morning ritual of drinking two to three tall glasses of lemon water. While I eat veggies throughout the day, I normally only eat fruit in the morning before I eat any other food. I’m weird that way. The one exception to that is when July and August roll around and the price of peaches drops. I’ll eat peaches (another orange fruit) all day long.

One of the things I like about mangoes is that they are so profoundly messy to eat. One simply cannot eat a mango without getting mango juice all over one’s hands. Talk about finger-lickin’ good!

So for the rest of the month of May (and perhaps somewhat beyond) I will be eating and thoroughly enjoying a mango every morning.

It may not be commonly known but the color orange resonates to the sun sign Leo (burnt-orange resonates to Sagittarius). And Leo is connected to the sun. As sun-gazers know, when the sun first starts poking its brilliant face above the horizon in the morning it is orange! It only lasts for a minute or two but for that short time it is a delightful orange. It is another powerful orange food.

When doing your early morning sun-gazing ritual do you ever notice how the sun briefly looks like an egg yolk slowly lifting up into the sky? Is this where the expression, sunny side up, comes from? Probably so. An egg yolk can look a lot like a teeny tiny sun that we can plop in our mouth. I prefer to eat eggs lightly poached. I cut away the egg white and eat only the yoke. That is where all the nutrition in an egg is. I plop the entire unbroken egg yoke into my mouth, letting it break open in my mouth. It’s like eating pure orange. It’s like eating the sun. It’s like a small orgasm in the mouth. It is one of my very favorite flavors.

Orange also resonates to the second chakra. That chakra plays a big part in sexual and creative energy. So if you want to be more creative eat more orange food!

And get more in touch with the seasonal cycles of orange foods. When an orange food is in season that is when it is best to binge on that food. This helps us to maintain a deep connection to the planet and to Ma Nature. Ma Nature provides all the colors and nutrition we need. And she does so every single month of the year.
